Alarca Juno Ledger Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 29, 2026
Alarca Juno Ledger is a private internal bookkeeping integration operated by Alarca Realty. This policy explains how information is handled when the integration connects to QuickBooks Online or other approved Alarca systems.
Information accessed
Depending on the approved workflow, the integration may access business accounting information such as:
- accounts and chart-of-accounts data;
- vendors and customers;
- bills, purchases, expenses, invoices, and payments;
- transaction dates, amounts, descriptions, reference numbers, and notes;
- reconciliation and bookkeeping records;
- technical information needed to authenticate and maintain the connection.
The integration is intended to access only information necessary for authorized Alarca accounting and administrative work.
How information is used
Information may be used to:
- perform bookkeeping and reconciliation;
- review and categorize transactions;
- identify possible duplicate entries;
- prepare or create authorized accounting records;
- support internal reporting and audit trails;
- troubleshoot and maintain the integration;
- comply with legal, accounting, and operational obligations.
Data sharing
Alarca does not sell QuickBooks data or use it for advertising.
Information may be disclosed only when reasonably necessary to:
- authorized Alarca personnel and service providers;
- operate or secure the integration;
- comply with applicable law, legal process, or regulatory obligations;
- protect Alarca, its clients, or others from fraud, misuse, or security threats.
Service providers are expected to handle information only for authorized business purposes.
Data security
Alarca uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. These may include restricted access, credential protection, encrypted connections, logging, and separation of development and production environments.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and Alarca cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for accounting, operational, legal, security, and recordkeeping purposes. Authentication credentials may be revoked or deleted when access is no longer required.
Disconnecting the integration
An authorized user may disconnect Alarca Juno Ledger through QuickBooks Online or by contacting Alarca Realty. Disconnecting the integration stops future access but may not delete records already created in QuickBooks or retained for lawful business purposes.
Changes to this policy
Alarca may update this policy as the integration or legal requirements change. The effective date shown above will be revised when material changes are made.
